Protecting Your Personal information
We may request personal identification information from you (such as your name, street address, telephone number, credit card number, e-mail address, and/or any other identifier that permits the physical or online interaction and/or correspondence with you) in connection with your use of, or participation in, paying for services, surveys, forums, subscription registrations, or additional information (including via email to us), and in connection with other activities, services or resources we make available on any of our sites/systems. How We Protect Your Billing Information
When you pay for services online, we protect your information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. We are secured by GeoTrust, a leading provider of SSL encryption keys. SSL encryption electronically masks any information you send us. With this state-of-the-art system, you can enter your credit card number and delivery and billing information safely. The encryption process protects the information by scrambling it before it is sent to us.

How We Use Cookies
We collect non-personal identification information through the use of cookies. A cookie is an element of data that a web site can send to your browser, which may then store it on your system. In possible transactions involving sell or buy of subsidiaries or business units, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing privacy terms (unless, of course, the customer consents otherwise). Also, in the unlikely event that SmartMD or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

Purchasing Products and Services
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card number when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

Changes in Member Agreement

SmartMD reserves the right to change any or all of there Member Agreement at any time, for any reason or without reason. Your use of this Web Site following any change in the Member Agreement will constitute your agreement to be bound by the new Member Agreement, as changed.
